Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service.

Prices / Taxes / Fees

Taxes
All rates include VAT (9%) and City Tax (12.5%). 

Security Deposit
Please note: 
A €250.00 security deposit per room is required at check-in for Twin / Double rooms.
A €375.00 security deposit per room is required at check-in for Triple rooms.
A €500.00 security deposit per room is required at check-in for Quadruple rooms.

Security deposits can be authorized on one of the guests' credit/debit cards. Security deposits will be fully refunded within seven business days after check-out unless there are damages to the property or the guests violate any of the house rules. 
Please note, the property does not accept cash.


Required documents
Payer's credit card must be present during check-in, together with payer's ID, for verification purposes. 
Check-in won’t be allowed if the payer’s credit card and ID aren’t being presented and verified as valid.If the payer is not coming, the credit card is expired, cancelled or reported stolen, please, contact us, as a different procedure will apply.

Payment terms
Reservations have to be paid in full prior to check-in. 

Accepted payment methods:
Maestro / VPay (PIN) cards,
Credit / Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American express)
Bank transfers (only possible at least 7 days before arrival)
 

Weekends / National holidays & Events

Weekends:
Minimum stay of 2 nights might apply. 

National holidays / Events / New year:
Minimum stay of 2/3/4 nights might apply. Rates will differ from our regular rates. 

Cancellations / No-Shows / Force Majeure / Disputes & Resolutions / Waiver

Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel your reservation, please contact the hotel with no delays at info@city-hotel.nl. If you wish to cancel your reservation within 72 hours before arrival, please call our front desk at: +31(0)20 627 2323 as well. Please note, non-refundable reservations will not be refunded in case of cancellations. However, if cancelled ahead of time (unlike a no-show), discount vouchers may be granted. 

No-Shows:
In case of a no-show, the total amount of the booking will be considered as cancellation fees and no refund will be granted. Please note,  no-show could be automatically applied to all guests which failed to check-in before midnight on arrival date. If you intent to check in after midnight (meaning on the following day), please make sure to inform the hotel. 

Force Majeure:
A Force Majeure event is considered a Force Majeure event if was determined as such by the local government of the Netherlands on the date of arrival of the guests. Even if the Force Majeure Event conditions are met, and the guests are a victim of it, the accommodation will still be entitled to all surcharges, fees, costs, or other amounts including but not limited to the remainders of payment (to be collected upon arrival, such as extra beds fees, late checkout fees, breakfast fees, etc.) of all non-refundable reservations and/or group reservations (reservations of 5 persons and above) or no-show fees, reservation modification fees, etc. Reservations with a flexible cancellation policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and if applicable, a discount voucher for future reservations might be granted. The property reserve the right, in case of justifiable doubt, to request a guest to provide reasonable evidence of the causal link between the Force Majeure event, no-show, or reservation change (and provide a copy of such evidence to City Hotel Rembrandt Square upon request). Guests must notify the City Hotel (only) about the inability to arrive for check-in upon their arrival date due to a current (or a possible) Force Majeure Event as soon as such was announced.  

Disputes & Resolutions:
All disputes and/or possible resolutions will be handled directly between the City Hotel Rembrandt Square and the guests. 

Waiver:
In case of any resolution to any dispute, whether as a result of a Force Majeure Event or as a gesture of goodwill offered by the hotel, the guest will be considered as one who waived any right for claiming an additional/other compensations/refunds/discounts etc.
